Any deviation from agreed specifications shall be by mutual agreement and shall be in writing (email/text). The customer agrees that any deviations from the original proposal may result in additional costs. Examples include design changes, layout changes, expansions, or extras added during the job.
All material remains the property of the Pure Escape Hardscapes until full payment has been received for job completion.
If the customer chooses to terminate the contract or abandon the project at any stage of its development, Pure Escape Hardscapes shall be entitled to compensation for all services performed on the customer’s behalf up to the time of such notification.
Quotations are valid for 30 (thirty) days.
This agreement is contingent upon weather, product availability, accidents, or delays beyond control.
The customer will be responsible for the location/stakeout of all property lines, underground wiring, and piping (i.e., cable, TV, gas, telephone, hydro, water, irrigation, lighting, etc.). Pure Escape Hardscapes will not be responsible for claims or damages arising from the customer's failure to properly locate property lines and/or utilities and other underground services.
In any outdoor renovation, some damage to existing irrigation and/or garden lighting systems may occur. While every reasonable precaution will be taken, Pure Escape Hardscapes cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred.
Pure Escape Hardscapes shall not be responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may result in damage to the landscape (vandalism, natural disasters, etc.)
.In the event of a partial lift and relay, Pure Escape Hardscapes is not responsible for existing problems outside the proposed area.
All hardscaping is guaranteed for two (2) years against defects in workmanship from the time of completion. This warranty excludes paving. The warranty is non-transferable.
The customer is responsible for following the watering schedule for freshly laid sod. There is no warranty on sod. (2 weeks – 30 minutes – morning/night)
During the guarantee period, the customer is responsible for preventing any damage to the landscaping.
Payment Schedule & Terms: 10% booking, 40% on job start, 50% upon completion. No warranty work will be performed until payment in full is received. Balances outstanding for over ninety (90) days will void any warranties and/or guarantees. Outstanding balances will be charged interest at 2% per month.
Any job exceeding 3 weeks will require weekly percentages to be paid, which will be determined by the length of the project.
Utility trenching (Gas + Electrical) is an additional cost if any of the contractors do not provide this service themselves.
We are not held liable for damage or negligence caused by other contractors, and repairs will be subject to additional costs. Examples include repairing/reassembling gates, repairing existing interlock, repairing sod from pool construction, irrigation installs, gas/electrical installs.16a) We are responsible for the sinkage of any existing interlock during the hardscape phase of construction and will be assessed prior to with the customer.
We are not responsible for any damages from natural material changes such as staining, efflorescence, chipping, aging, improper salting, or deicing on any paver or natural stone.
Sand is not warranted. The customer shall be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hardscaping during the guarantee period. Sand repairs may be subject to additional costs. Pure Escape Hardscapes shall provide initial sand and one top up before job is completed.

After-care/maintenance services are subject to additional costs, such as auto cover lid removal, stain removal, fire/water/light features, misc. landscape accessories and resanding.

Outdoor Lighting is warranted through manufacturer. Pure Escape Hardscapes is only liable if damage is within the wiring grid. i.e. loose/faulty wiring connections.
